From a non-alc start-up, to pouring pints at football stadiums, and serving luxury whisky at five-star hotels, Charlotte has worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. She now talks about her favourite whiskies within Diageo, where she gets to inspire and inform, using myths, stories, and science to bring life to every distillery. 

Her previous adventures took her to running the whisky bar at Milroy’s of Spitalfields where she curated a menu of 1000 whiskies (which she still maintains is not enough).  

In tandem she worked with The Mixing Class to provide spirits courses for the WSET. In 2021 she started running Women’s+ Whisky Night: evening’s dedicated to the exploration of female+ focused brands and providing an alternative space to enjoy and learn about whisky. 

Above all, she seeks different flavours and will always naïvely marvel at the spectrum that can be created in whisky with such simple ingredients. Her favourite whisky is the one she’s not tried yet.
