Thea Cumming is a London-based entrepreneur, mezcal advocate, and hospitality innovator. She is the founder of Dangerous Don, a UK-based mezcal brand that blends traditional Oaxacan craftsmanship with creative “destilados” such as coffee and mandarin. Collaborating with master mezcalero Celso Martinez, Thea has introduced unique expressions of mezcal that honor traditional methods while introducing contemporary twists.
Beyond spirits, Thea co-founded Doña, a vibrant mezcal and live music venue in Stoke Newington, London. Established with Lucia Massey, Doña is known for its hot-pink décor, mezcal-based cocktails, and commitment to celebrating empowered feminine energy. The venue has become a creative hub, hosting live music, cabaret, workshops, and more, and was recognized with the PRS for Music Back to Live Music Venue Prize for its contributions to the local music scene.
Thea is also a co-founder of London Mezcal Week, an annual event that celebrates mezcal culture through tastings, talks, and art. Her work reflects a commitment to authenticity, sustainability, and storytelling, positioning her as a leading voice in the UK’s agave spirits scene.
