Hannah Lanfear is considered a preeminent force in the world of spirits education, as author and educator for the Speciality Sessions, as well as having delivered WSET Spirits courses to thousands of industry folk. 

With two decades of experience, spanning both elite cocktail bars and as an international brand ambassador, in 2017 Hannah founded The Mixing Class, a company dedicated to delivering spirits education to the cocktail and spirits industry. Founded on the principle that education is a powerful tool to better the equity of opportunity in our trade, these beliefs continue to inspire her in her work as Advocacy Manager at Speciality Drinks.

Hannah is an Official Cognac Educator; is listed in the IWSC & WSET’s Future 50; is #38 on the Bar World 100 ’22; and Imbibe magazine’s Educator of the Year in 2019.
