Felipe is an award-winning whisky writer, author, independent bottler, and Keeper of the Quaich. With the Rhythm and Booze Project and Rhythm and Booze Records, he combines music and whisky in as many ways as possible. He is also a leading voice warning about the risks of whisky cask investment.
For his work, he was awarded the 2021 Alan Lodge Young International Drinks Writer of the Year, and was named in the shortlist for the 2022, 2025, and 2026 IWSC Spirits Communicator of the Year as well as the 2022 Fortnum and Mason Drinks Writer of the Year awards.
