Noel Sweeney is a globally respected Irish whiskey master distiller and blender with over 30 years’ experience. Beginning in laboratory and production roles in industrial alcohol and flavour manufacture, he joined Cooley Distillery in 1989, progressing to Master Distiller and overseeing quality, production and cask management during its international growth and eventual acquisition by Jim Beam and Beam Suntory. He later joined Powerscourt Distillery, leading plant design and commissioning and launching the award-winning Fercullen range. Noel now co-founds Next Level Distillers, providing international whiskey consultancy across Europe, the USA, China and Scotland.
