The West Indies Rum & Spirits Producers’ Association (WIRSPA) is the umbrella organisation representing national rum producer associations in 15 countries from the Caribbean Community and the Dominican Republic. It serves as the collective voice of the region’s distillers working to advance their shared interests through trade advocacy, industry collaboration and a strong commitment to sustainability, while positioning and strengthening the global presence of Authentic Caribbean Rum.
WIRSPA plays a key role in building the category through education, common regulation and by promoting the Authentic Caribbean Rum marque as a symbol of authenticity, provenance and quality. It also works with regional institutions, governments and international spirits bodies, to address policy, market access and industry development.
