Tagore Ramoutar is a founding Director of The English Whisky Guild; he is the lead  for the English Whisky Geographical Indication and sat on the BSI Panel for the British Standard for Whisky.

Tagore co-founded award-winning Oxford Artisan Distillery (now known as Fielden). He is a director of two craft distilleries; Spirit of the Downs, Ten Hides Distillery and advises start-up distillery  Aedda’s Farm. He is a director of Delux a startup focussed on traceability and provenance of spirits. Since 2022 Tagore has produced a monthly Craft Spirits Market Intelligence Survey tracking over 85 UK distilleries and 900 drinks.
