Rohan is a bartender and distiller based in Kigali, Rwanda. Formerly part of the research team at Native (Tales of the Cocktail’s Best International Cocktail Bar 2020; Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 No. 45; The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 No. 84), he is now the distiller behind IMIZI Rum, Rwanda’s first rum distillery and most-awarded spirit brand (including Silver medals at the Global Rum & Cachaça Masters 2024 and Asia International Spirits Competition 2024). Rohan has also served as a panellist at the London Wine Fair 2025, speaking on the rise of African spirits.
