Beth Whymark has worked in the spirits industry since 2020. 

She has edited drinks publications including Whisky Magazine, Gin Magazine, and Rum Magazine, also serving as a spirits taster for these titles.

She had been working as a freelance whisky writer since 2024, penning articles for publications including The Whiskey Wash, Elite Traveler, and the Keepers of the Quaich’s member magazine The Keeper.

She has also worked in Scotch whisky marketing, contributing to projects including the launch of Gordon & MacPhail’s 85 Year Old in October 2025.

She holds a Level 3 Award in Spirits and a Level 2 Award in Wines from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
